WI-HER, LLC (Women Influencing Health, Education and Rule of Law) is a woman-owned small business and international consulting firm based in the Washington D.C. area. WI-HER partners with international donors and national governments to identify and implement creative solutions to complex health and social challenges to achieve better, healthier lives for women, men, girls, and boys. Established in 2008, the company has extensive experience in gender equity and social inclusion, capacity development, advocacy, policy, monitoring and evaluation and collaboration, learning and adaptation across multiple sectors including health, energy, agriculture, construction, land tenure, agriculture, rule of law and democracy and governance. WI-HER applies an innovative and systematic approach, using adaptive learning techniques called iDARE, to address gender equity and social inclusion gaps while strengthening communities to identify local solutions towards sustainability and self reliance. WI-HER has global presence and expertise in creating high-visibility programs in more than 40 countries in East, West and South Africa, the Middle-East, Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean and Asia. Since its inception, WI-HER has been a trusted prime and sub on programs funded by US government agencies and their contractors both large and small. WI-HER is a team member on several US Agency for International Development (USAID) global and bilateral project, now successfully implementing and generating innovations in 32 projects globally.
