(JAA) was founded in 1986 for the purpose of assisting businesses, governments, non-profit organizations, educational and financial institutions, and other development organizations around the world to improve productivity, to enhance competitiveness, to strengthen management and strategy implementation, and to facilitate economic development. JAA, through its business strategy and competitiveness work, has deep sectoral expertise, and has worked closely with dozens of industries worldwide. JAA has been very successful in building country and sectoral competitiveness by providing expert innovative and collaborative consulting services, in such areas as: value chain analysis and application, BDS, competitiveness, governing policy and enabling business environments. JAA has developed practical tools used by the World Bank and USAID, among others, as reference guides; and has gained the necessary expertise to leverage countries €™ strengths and match them with international trends in those sectors. J.E. Austin Associates, Inc. has become synonymous with identifying new opportunities and enhancing competitiveness; strengthening emerging market economies and promoting growth. We have performed Value Chain analyses in over 100 sub-sectors around the world; intimately familiar with a variety of industries, both agricultural and non-agricultural.
