About

Databoom is a group of question designers, story listeners, data crunchers, fact believers, problem solvers, and trend spotters on a mission to get to the heart of why. We support clients to tackle complex development issues through research insights and creativity, and we believe that powerful insights can change the world. Seventy-five percent of our portfolio is focused on aligning clients’ measurement with strategy. And like Chemonics, we’re solution oriented and want to transform how development can, and should, work.

Databoom is a women-led team with core competencies in research and evaluation, strategy and communications, stakeholder engagement, resource planning, study design, and evidence-based decision-making. We’re dedicated to finding practical and useful solutions for organizations and donors who want to capture their effectiveness and impact.

Databoom has supported development organizations in Central and South America, the Caribbean, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and the United States to align measurement to strategy, strengthen research programming, capture, and triangulate data, and generate evidence to inform decision-making. We’ve also worked with funders, like USAID, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, Gates Ventures, the Oak Family Foundation, and the Summit Foundation, to use evidence to inform and refine their investment strategies. Examples of Databoom’s work can be found on X (Twitter) and LinkedIn, and on our website.
